Arizona Catalina State Park/Tucson

Catalina State Park is now our favorite park in AZ. It's tucked up against the Santa Catalina Mountains. The scenery is gorgeous, the campsites are well maintained and spread out, there are plenty of hiking trails, and the birding is great. Plus, the amenities of Tucson are a short drive to the south.
