Morro Bay Close-ups: Bike

RIDE TO RAGGED POINT

During our six weeks in Morro Bay, Geno went biking nearly every other day. He saved his best and longest ride 'til the very end and took a 44-mile ride from Morro Bay up the coast to Ragged Point (88 miles round-trip) with Jay on a calm, beautiful mid-November day. They took their time, stopping frequently to admire the coastal scenery, had a nice leisurely lunch at Ragged Point, and let the daylight hours slip away. By the time they returned to Morro Bay, it was dark. But they witnessed a spectacular sunset on the last stretch of the ride.

We were bonking so it was time for a java jolt at Kellie's Coffee Cafe in Cayucos
