| The Three Capes Scenic Route runs along the coast west of Tillamook. This byway provides access to Cape Meares, Cape Lookout, and Cape Kiwanda. Away from busy Highway 101, the beautiful Capes area is another great find for everything we like to do. | |

| The most colorful cape along the Oregon coast is Cape Kiwanda. Instead of basalt formation, this cape is mostly sandstone with high concentration of iron oxide which causes its bright red and orange coloration. | |
